The extension of the two-year-old season into December gives trainers plenty of late opportunities to run some more backward types and there could be a few potentially useful juveniles yet to be seen.

Donnacha O'Brien ran two in this particular maiden, winning with the quite well-touted Lesson Learned, but this colt will have gone down in a few notebooks too. He had shown a little promise in a barrier trial in September, but stepped up on that here. He was ridden handily, was unable to pick up initially for pressure in the straight, but the penny dropped a little more inside the last and he stayed on well close home.
