Charli Parcs was particularly disappointing at Kempton on Saturday when he looked incredibly green and timid in and around the other horses. I doubt very much if he’ll run in any race at Cheltenham now but because his demise was the story of the race, many didn’t seem to notice just how impressive the winner Master Blueyes was.

Defi Du Seuil sets the standard in the Triumph Hurdle but not by much now and Master Blueyes has really turned the corner the last twice he’s run over hurdles. He cantered home from a good field.
