The final day of the 2022 Cheltenham Festival kicks off with the Triumph Hurdle (1.30) and trainer Gordon Elliot holds a particularly strong hand courtesy of Pied Piper and, in the same ownership but at roughly double the odds, Fil Dor, and it's the last-named who appeals most.
A three-time winner before the turn of the year, the way the race unfolded when runner-up to today's likely favourite Vauban in the Grade 1 Spring Juvenile at Leopardstown didn't play to his strengths, and as highlighted in the Racing Post analysis "he stayed on well and is entitled to get closer at Cheltenham".
