Titian Boy looked a young chaser to keep firmly on the right side when annihilating his rivals first time over fences, and could make light of his revised mark in Ayr’s Racing UK Day Pass Just £10 Handicap Chase (2.20).

A huge horse who was never going to come into his own until sent chasing, Titian Boy began his new career off a basement mark of 80, and made no mistake over course and distance last month.

The Nick Alexander-trained gelding jumped well on the whole and was still hard on the bridle in a clear lead five out with all his opponents under maximum pressure.
