A 12-line perm to land the Fakenham Placepot on Monday

Fakenham's Placepot involves a couple of legs in need of special attention, including the opener. Take three to get through: Dash Of Blue, Andapa and Say Nothing.

Leg two is played straight, with Big Chief Benny, before all four runners in the 1.50 earn inclusion.

The next two races both have eight-runner fields and three places to aim at, so we can attempt to get through with just one runner in each. Speedy Cargo is the choice in the feature given he is likely to be up there throughout, is demonstrably in good form and stays well.

With Hacker Des Places out of the juvenile hurdle the focus switches to Grouseman. He has plenty of experience on the Flat, but also has a couple of proper hurdles runs behind him and is likely to be suited by this sharp track.

The last has seven runners but, seeing as it is the final leg with the associated benefit of hedging, the recommendation is still to take just one. Court Jurado may go off favourite, but has earned that spot by virtue of his consistency so is hard for Placepot hunters to ignore.
