Stradivarius set for first public spin since retirement at Flat Stallion Parade
A total of seven stallions embarking on either their first or second seasons at stud will attend the 2023 TBA Flat Stallion Parade at Tattersalls, Newmarket on Thursday, February 2.
Breeders, owners, trainers, agents and bloodstock enthusiasts will have the opportunity to view the latest recruits to the stallion ranks at 11am in the sales ring.
Racing Broadcaster Gina Bryce and Tattersalls’ Shirley Anderson-Jolag will guide attendees through the parade, discussing each stallion and their racing career.
The stallions parading are:
A’ALI - Society Rock ex Motion Lass
BANGKOK - Australia ex Tanaghum
CATURRA - Mehmas ex Shoshoni Wind
CENTURY DREAM - Cape Cross ex Salacia
LOPE Y FERNANDEZ - Lope De Vega ex Black Dahlia
STRADIVARIUS - Sea The Stars ex Private Life
UBETTABELIEVEIT - Kodiac ex Ladylishandra
Stallions will be available for viewing afterwards in the Left Yard, where hot drinks and light refreshments will be served in the TBA’s hospitality box. Breeders are welcome to inspect the horses, discuss mating plans and make nomination inquiries to stallion managers.
TBA deputy chairman Philip Newton said: “. It is a great opportunity to see some of the top performers on the turf as they embark on their new careers.
“The TBA team look forward catching up with members at the event and we always welcome inquiries from anyone interested in getting involved in thoroughbred breeding.
"We remain hugely thankful to Gina and Shirley for their time and to Tattersalls and all participating stallion studs for their support.”
