Winning pointers among catalogued lots for Cheltenham Sale
Among those added is Lemonfield winner Posh Trish
The 22 lots catalogued for the Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham Festival Sale will be offered for sale in the world-famous winner's enclosure after racing on March 16 at 6.15pm.
Among those added to the initial 11 draft entries are a number of four- and five-year-old winning pointers.
Of those, Palmers Hill, a four-year-old Gold Well gelding was a wide-margin winner of his maiden at Tyrella on Saturday, having been third on debut to Flemenshill at Oldtown, who realised £480,000 when sold to Tom Malone and Joe Tizzard at the Cheltenham January Sale last month.
Posh Trish, a four-year-old Stowaway filly who was a 14-length winner of her point-to-point at Lemonfield on Sunday, while on the same card, Voie Dans Voie, a son of Coastal Path, finished second in the maiden for four-year-old geldings.
If the price realised by Flemenshill in February is anything to go by, there will likely be plenty of sparks flying at next week's sale.
