Vaniteux owner and breeder to disperse 25 fillies and mares at January Sale
Trull House Stud draft will be offered without reserve in Doncaster
Leading National Hunt owner-breeder Richard Kelvin-Hughes will disperse 25 fillies and mares from his Trull House Stud at the Goffs UK January Sale in Doncaster on January 23 and 24.
Kelvin-Hughes has enjoyed a number of notable successes as an owner and a breeder, namely with the likes of Vaniteux, Chomba Womba, and Hadrian's Approach. The draft will be offered by Mill House and Little Lodge Studs, with each of the 25 lots set to come under the hammer without reserve.
The draft will consist of nine mares - including six with coverings by the likes of Kayf Tara and Walk In The Park - five foals, five yearlings and six two-year-olds.
"We have made the decision to disperse our National Hunt breeding operation through the sale of all fillies and mares," said Kelvin-Hughes.
"We enjoyed immediate success with our homebreds and we believe the best is yet to come. The timing is now right for a dispersal, we see the Goffs UK January Sale at Doncaster as the ideal place to hold it and we hope that others will have the same success that we have started.
"We will continue to race the colts and geldings that we have in training as well as on the ground and we look forward, with mixed emotions, to purchasing future winners from these bloodlines at the sales as part of our ongoing support to National Hunt breeding and racing."
