One of the main selling points of any National Hunt foal sale is the number of siblings, offspring and/or relations of Grade 1 winners featured in a particular catalogue.

Tattersalls Ireland is not lacking in that department with Yellowford Farm selling three Walk In The Park colts of that description one after the other during Tuesday's session of the November National Hunt Sale.

Lot 733, b c May 29, Walk In The Park-Millys Gesture (Milan)
Offered by Yellowford Farm on behalf of GCE Farm

The first to go through the ring is a half-brother to Coney Island, a son of Flemensfirth who made his Grade 1 breakthrough in the Drinmore Novices' Chase across the road from the sales complex at Fairyhouse, out of the Milan mare Millys Gesture.

She in turn is closely related to Challow Novices' Hurdle winner Wichita Lineman, who also landed the Spa Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, and Rhinestone Cowboy, who was a narrow second to Pizarro in the Cheltenham Champion Bumper.

Coney Island was being talked up as a Cheltenham Gold Cup contender last season and returned when third in the Grade 2 Lismullen Hurdle on Sunday, while Millys Gesture also has a three-year-old Flemensfirth gelding, two-year-old Leading Light gelding and a yearling Kingston Hill colt.

"He's a good, strong foal and is probably the best foal the mare has bred," said Pat Tobin of GCE Farm. "Her Getaway half-sister Seaton Carew, trained by Jonjo O'Neill, was a close fifth on her bumper debut at Warwick on Friday and has a lot of potential."

734, b c June 5, Walk In The Park-Scandisk (Kenmare)

The second son of Walk In The Park to be offered by Yellowford is a six-month-old three-parts brother to legendary hurdler Hurricane Fly, whose 22 Grade 1 hurdle victories set a new record.

Their dam Scandisk enjoyed a brief spell as dam of the priciest store ever sold when her three-year-old Camelot gelding was acquired by Nicky Henderson for €235,000 at this year's Goffs Land Rover Sale.

The mare was also responsible for the €120,000 sale-topper at the 2013 November National Hunt Sale, and got that much-needed second Grade 1 winner on the page when her daughter Mucho Macabi supplied this year's Punchestown Champion Bumper hero Tornado Flyer.

"He's a very young foal but has an illustrious pedigree," said Frank Motherway of Yellowford Farm. "We said we'd put our toe in the water and see how it goes. We'd be prepared to bring him home if he doesn't make a reasonable figure.

"This could well be the mare's last foal. She's healthy and well though, and we'll see what happens.

"We have her daughter Blixt in foal to Walk In The Park and another daughter Avichi in foal to Flemensfirth, while her four-year-old Yeats filly is in training with Willie Mullins."

Scandisk's Yeats daughter Avichi, who placed three times in bumpers for Willie Mullins, will see her second foal, a Malinas filly, come up for sale as lot 700, with her first foal having fetched €70,000 at this same sale last year.

735, b c May 4, Walk In The Park-Bella Venezia (Milan)

Bred on the same cross as Millys Gesture's colt foal, this youngster is out of Bella Venezia, a closely related half-sister to another Willie Mullins-trained star in Bellshill, who hails from the same family as dual King George hero One Man.

Bellshill completed the rare feat of winning a Grade 1 on the level, over hurdles and over fences when winning the Punchestown Gold Cup in April, and looks set to be targeted at the Cheltenham Gold Cup this year by Mullins.

Bella Venezia also has three- and two-year-old fillies by Getaway and a yearling filly from the penultimate crop of Presenting.

"Bellshill has done us proud this past season winning the Punchestown Gold Cup," said Motherway. "He's won over €400,000 now.

"The colt is a half-brother to Rathhill and a three-year-old Getaway filly, both in training with Nicky Henderson and who've both received glowing reports."

The three lots are expected to go through the ring at approximately 6.15pm on Tuesday. A live stream is available at tattersalls.ie.
