A pair of colts by Siyouni held sway at the top of the leaderboard at Arqana's V2 yearling sale on Wednesday, with both due for a return visit to Deauville next May for the breeze-up.

A product of Thierry de la Heronniere's Haras d'Ellon, the €125,000 sale-topper was knocked down to pinhooker Roger Marley.

Heronniere has enjoyed great success this season with a daughter of Siyouni in Volta, while the maternal side of the family features Prix Maurice de Gheest heroine Porlezza as second dam.
