Momentous year for Kilbride thanks to Classic heroine Jet Setting

It is almost a year to the day that bloodstock agent John Kilbride walked into the ring during the 2015 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale and parted with the bargain sum of 12,000gns for the then maiden filly, Jet Setting.

That purchase by Kilbride turned out to be the stuff of dreams as the three-year-old daughter of Fast Company went on to score the biggest victory of her career when landing this year’s Irish 1,000 Guineas for trainer Adrian Keatley and her owners, the Equinegrowthpartners Syndicate.

More success followed at the Goffs London Sale earlier this year where Jet Setting was bought by the China Horse Club for £1.3 million on the eve of Royal Ascot.
