Liz Lane appointed to administrate Ascot and Cheltenham sales
National Stud diploma graduate lands Newmarket-based role
Tattersalls Ireland has appointed of Liz Lane as bloodstock and marketing administrator for the Tattersalls Ireland Ascot and Cheltenham Sales. She will be based in Clifton House, Newmarket.
A native of Cork, Lane has worked for Janah Management Company for the last two years.
Educated at the Cork Institute of Technology, she completed the National Stud Diploma in Newmarket. She has also been part of the Tattersalls Ireland sales-day rostrum team at Fairyhouse and has previous experience with point-to-pointing in Ireland.
Working closely with the existing team, Lane will play an intricate part in organising the company's bloodstock sales, client and industry relations and sales-day related matters.
Richard Pugh, Tattersalls Ireland director of horses in training, said: "We're delighted to welcome Liz to the team at Clifton House, who oversee the sales at Tattersalls Ireland Ascot and Cheltenham.
"Sales at both these venues have continued to grow since Tattersalls Ireland took them over just two years ago and Liz's experience and enthusiasm will be an asset to the team."
