Tattersalls have announced that Investec Private Banking are to sponsor Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, which begins its three-day run on October 4.

Jimmy George, marketing director at Tattersalls, said: "Investec is a very prestigious brand in the sporting and racing world via their sponsorship of the Investec Derby and we are delighted that Investec Private Banking has agreed to sponsor Book 1.

"The sale complements their Derby and Oaks sponsorship perfectly given it has provided the winner of the Derby on six occasions this millenia."
