Howson and Houldsworth bid landmark price for new buyers
Wechsler and Plummer snap up a Dubawi colt for 500,000gns

Among the first-time buyers at Book 1 yesterday were Tony Wechsler and Ann Plummer, who have horses in training with Charlie Hills and Jonathan Portman, and they made their visit worthwhile when snapping up a grey Dubawi colt for 500,000gns.
Bidding on behalf of the couple was Matt Houldsworth of Howson and Houldsworth Bloodstock.
"He’s a lovely individual," Houldsworth said of the colt. "He looked a lot more of a two-year-old type than some Dubawis. We couldn't fault him and both owners fell in love with him.
