Auction gets underway on Monday
Five wildcards have been added to the marathon Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale which opens on Monday.
They include the Ian Williams-trained The Statesman (Lot 317A), a gelding by Zoffany who scored a first career success over hurdles last time out at Ludlow and also has three wins on the Flat to his name.
Michael Appleby will offer the three-time winning High Chaparral gelding Big Country (317B); Ted Walsh consigns Castletownshend (585A), who finished second on his only start to date earlier this month; and Richard Guest offers the in-form Udontdodou (585B), who has won two of his last three starts at Chelmsford.
Completing the quintet is the Richard Hannon-trained Albishr (928A), who finished second in the Listed Stonehenge Stakes in August.
