Arqana has catalogued 56 lots for its Arc Sale which takes place the day before the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on October 1.

Due to the renovation works at Longchamp racecourse, this year's edition of the auction will take place in a temporary structure at Robert Collet's Pharis yard. The yard was famously owned by leading French owner-breeder Marcel Boussac.

Among the eye-catchers set to go under the hammer include Darabad (Lot 37), a half-brother to Group 1 winner Dariyan who landed the Listed Grand Prix de Clairefontaine last time out and runs in Sunday's Group 3 Prix Niel, dual Listed scorer Maximum Aurelius (46), and Wednesday's impressive ten-length winner Vengeful (56).
