Ballymacoll dispersal rolls into November Breeding Stock Sale

Mares in foal to Galileo and Dark Angel also set to come under the hammer

The next leg of the complete dispersal of stock from Ballymacoll Stud takes place at Goffs on Thursday during the opening session of the November Breeding Stock Sale.

A quartet of mares are set to come under the hammer, namely Rien Ne Vas Plus (Lot 924), a placed daughter of Oasis Dream in foal to Markaz, Drama Class (925), a Listed-placed daughter of Caerleon in foal to Acclamation; Olympienne (926), an unraced sister to Islington offered with an Alhebayeb covering; and Desert Bloom (927), the dam of Melbourne Cup winner Fiorente in foal to Teofilo.

All four mares will be consigned by Jockey Hall Stud.

The two-day sale also features noteworthy drafts from the likes of Godolphin, the Aga Khan, Moyglare Stud, Kiltinan Castle, Redmondstown Stud and Derrinstown Stud.

While the list of covering sires on offer also reads like a who's who of modern day greats, with mares in foal to names such as Galileo, Sea The Stars, Dark Angel, Kodiac and Siyouni all set to come under the hammer.
