Ascot October Sale cancelled
The auction clashes with the opening day of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale
Tattersalls Ireland has cancelled its October Sale which was due to take place on at Ascot on October 4. The auction was set to clash with the opening day of Book 1 of Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
Tattersalls Ireland director of horses-in-training sales Richard Pugh explained the decision to cancel the sale: "It was never ideal to have our Ascot October Sale coinciding with the opening day of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
"The alteration to our calendar will allow the whole Tattersalls team to concentrate exclusively on Europe's premier yearling sale which takes place from October 4 to October 6."
