All Goffs UK breeze-up lots made eligible for Swedish Classics
Innovative link-up between sale house and Scandinavia

The entire catalogue for next month's Goffs UK Breeze-up Sale at Doncaster has been made eligible for the Swedish Derby and Oaks series in an innovative link-up between the auction house and the Swedish Racing Authority.
The ten-race series has been created by the Swedish Racing Authority for three-year-olds to run in next year and is worth SEK9.4 million (£864,000/€992,000). It runs from mid-June to mid-August and the value of the Swedish Derby will be doubled for 2018, with a prize fund of SEK3m (£275,000/€316,000).
Last year's champion two-year-old in Sweden, Victor Kalejs, was purchased by Roy Arne Kvisla from last year's Goffs UK Breeze-up Sale for £10,000, while multiple stakes winners Easy Road and Hoku are also graduates.
Filip Zwicky, recently appointed as Goffs UK Scandinavian agent, said: “It has been an ever-growing wish from Scandinavian owners and trainers to be able to enter their breeze-up purchases in the valuable Swedish Derby and Oaks Series but an early closing date has made it impossible – until now.
“This is the first time in history that a sales company has entered its entire catalogue for the series and by doing so, we are offering our clients a chance to win these valuable races that is not available at any other breeze-up sale.”
The Goffs UK Breeze-up Sale takes place on April 11 and 12.
