Just months after injury knocked their top three-year-old Maxfield out of the Kentucky Derby and there is already major recompense for Godolphin in the emergence of Essential Quality.

The colt has put Godolphin back on the American Classic trail while likely winding up as the year’s champion two-year-old colt along the way.
