SEA THE STARS' previous four Group 1 winners - Harzand, Sea The Moon, Taghrooda and Vazira - might have indicated the former world champion was chiefly a source of stamina at stud.
But added a different dimension to the sire's profile by becoming his fifth top-level scorer in the Prix Jean Prat over the shorter distance of 1m at Chantilly on Sunday.
Zelzal's convincing victory came a day after Mutakayyef ran out a wide-margin winner of the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot.
