Watch Me's half-brother to make racecourse debut at Killarney on Monday
Smart sibling was back in the winning groove in Deauville Listed race
Deauville and Killarney are both tracks on any self-respecting racegoer's to-do list and owner Antoinette Tamagni-Bodmer will now set her sights on chocolate box County Kerry after the victory in Normandy by her star filly Watch Me.
The Swiss owner has her own stud in Normandy as well as being the partner of Haras du Petit Tellier's Patrick Chedeville and Watch Me's victory in last year's Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot was her greatest achievement with thoroughbreds so far.
The daughter of Olympic Glory finished third in her final start last year in the Prix de l'Opera and had her sights lowered to Listed level for her comeback in the Prix de la Calonne.
Tamagni-Bodmer and trainer Francis Graffard could not have hoped for much more as the odds-on favourite dominated the race and cruised two and a half lengths clear, paving the way for a return to Group company.
Watch Me's half-brother Watchmen has been sent to John Oxx and makes his racecourse bow as a three-year-old in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction.
The winning Galileo mare was picked up for just €22,000 carrying Watch Me at Arqana in December 2015 and was bought back for €480,000 last year.
Watchmen, already gelded, is one of three Elvstroems produced by Watchful. His two-year-old younger brother called Watch Him is in training with Fabrice Chappet.
