Tuesday's Ascot August Sale attracts an additional 34 lots
Some 34 wildcards have been added to next Tuesday’s Ascot August Sale to take the event up to a catalogue of 147.
The additions include an unraced two-year-old Kodiac colt out of the Kheleyf mare Society Pearl (lot 58), who is being offered by Ballyhannon Stud, and an unraced three-year-old Showcasing filly from Baroda Stud (56).
Many of the other wildcards for the mixed sale are either horses in training or those with a National Hunt bearing, including a Fair Mix store from the family of high-class chaser Grey Abbey (93A) consigned by Shade Oak Stud.

The sale includes another draft from Godolphin featuring 11 well-bred colts, geldings and fillies, as well as those moving on from the likes of Roger Varian, Roger Charlton, Andrew Balding, Paul Nicholls and Jonjo O’Neill.
Last year’s sales-topper Pilgrim Soul had left Balding’s care and was knocked down for £40,000 to Kerry Lee. Trading begins at 10.30am in the Tattersalls Ireland Ascot sales ring.
