Top-class fillies among outstanding catalogue for Fasig-Tipton's November Sale
Swiss Skydiver, Aunt Pearl, Shedaresthedevil, Duopoly and Vequist are entered
An outstanding catalogue for Fasig-Tipton's November Sale is headlined by a number of top-class fillies and mares including Swiss Skydiver, Aunt Pearl, Shedaresthedevil, Duopoly and Vequist.
Held in Lexington, Kentucky on Tuesday, November 9, the sale will begin with 135 weanlings, selected on pedigree and conformation, before moving on to racing and broodmare prospects as well as in-foal mares.
Among the 259-strong catalogue are multiple Grade 1 heroine Swiss Skydiver, Kentucky Oaks heroine Shedaresthedevil, Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Aunt Pearl, Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and Spinaway Stakes victress Vequist, plus American Oaks winner Duopoly.
“Eclipse champions, Breeders’ Cup winners, millionaires, Graded producers, and selected weanlings – it’s all on offer again at our November Sale this year,” said Fasig-Tipton's president Boyd Browning.
“This year’s catalogue is arguably one of the deepest we have had in recent memory, with 45 Graded stakes winners or producers, 30 of which are Grade 1.”
He continued: “The quality of this catalogue – offered in a single, spectacular evening session – makes our November Sale one of the more singularly important and exciting events on the thoroughbred auction calendar.
"We look forward to showcasing the sport’s finest thoroughbreds to the world after the Breeders’ Cup.”
The catalogue can be viewed online and will also be available via the Equineline sales catalogue app and in print from October 14. Online and phone bidding will be available.
The sale will also include a supplemental catalogue, meaning Fasig-Tipton will accept selected entries for the supplement through the Breeders’ Cup.
