Tom's Ready to stand at Spendthrift Farm

Three-year-old colt claimed the Woody Stephens Stakes in June

Grade 2 Woody Stephens Stakes winner Tom's Ready will stand at Spendthrift Farm at the conclusion of his racing career after the Kentucky stud acquired the three–year–old colt's breeding rights from owner GMB Racing.

Trained by Dallas Stewart, Tom's Ready registered a first win with a three–and–a–quarter length victory in a 7f Churchill Downs maiden, before finishing a narrow second in the Street Sense Stakes at the same course.

The son of More Than Ready started this season with a runner–up finish in the Grade 3 Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds and two starts later filled the same position in the Grade 2 Lousiana Derby.
