A breeding right to the in-demand Time Test made six figures when selling to Dash Grange Stud for £100,000 at the Goffs Online Sale of Stallion Breeding Rights.

The Juddmonte-bred son of Dubawi has got his second career off to a flying start as the leading first-season sire of black-type winners last term.

Among his leading progeny are Group 3 winners Romantic Time and Rocchigiani, Listed scorers The King's Horses and Tardis, plus Moyglare Stud Stakes third Sunset Shiraz.

Standing at the National Stud for an increased fee of £15,000 this year, the dual Group 2 winner had another breeding right sell for 115,000gns at last month's Tattersalls online auction.

A breeding right in Territories - whose first Group 1 winner came courtesy of Rougir in the Prix de l'Opera last October - sold for £18,000 to Elizabeth Jones. The son of Invincible Spirit stands at Dalham Hall Stud for a fee of £10,000.

Three Irish-based stallions, in the shape of last year's leading first-season sires Cotai Glory and Profitable, along with Belardo, also had breeding rights sell.

Cotai Glory, who was crowned 2021 European champion first-season sire by winners, had his breeding right sell to Paul Harley for €40,000.

Tally-Ho Stud's son of Exceed And Excel has been responsible for the likes of Prix Robert Papin and Prix du Bois scorer Atomic Force, Italian Listed winner Purciaretta and the Coventry Stakes runner-up Eldrickjones among eight black-type performers.

Profitable, whose first crop last term included Queen Mary Stakes winner Quick Suzy and stakes winners Mr Professor and Head Mistress, had his breeding right snapped up by Joseph Burke for €35,000.

The top-class son of Invincible Spirit resides at Kildangan Stud, alongside Belardo, whose breeding right went for €16,500 to Leslie Young.

The son of Lope De Vega has sired 11 black-type performers, including Rockfel Stakes winner Isabella Giles and Prix Miesque winner Lullaby Moon.

Goffs group chief executive Henry Beeby said: Today’s online sale completes a successful week for Goffs and marks a first for the company – selling horses in a traditional, physical sale and also in an online-only auction in the same week.

"It demonstrates the ever-growing capabilities and ongoing innovation of Goffs to be able to conduct auctions in both spheres and it has been very pleasing to see all five of the breeding rights sell. The sale has provided a solid platform on which we can grow, and we look forward to expanding our online sales offer in the future.”
