Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge line-up unveiled for next month
Fresh from some success from graduates in the new Flat season, the catalogue for the Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale has been announced.
Horses sold at the event, which will take place between May 18 and 19 with the breeze at Fairyhouse, have included Group 3 Alleged Stakes winner Layfayett and Volatile Analyst, who struck in the Listed Cammidge Trophy.
Other flag-bearers include Group 3 winners Parent's Prayer and With Thanks plus Listed scorers Haqeeqy, Mehmento and Duca Di Coma.
Among the 215 entries are a Caravaggio half-brother to Listed winner Sirici, an Invincible Spirit half-brother to the Group 2 winner Banimpire, a Lope De Vega colt out of Group 1 placed Strathnaver, a Sea The Stars full-brother to Listed winner Rakan out of Group 2 winner Tarfasha and a No Nay Never colt out of Group 3 Musidora Stakes victress Aviate.
Sires with two-year-olds engaged include Australia, Dark Angel, Exceed And Excel, Kingman, Kodiac, Make Believe, Night Of Thunder, Ardad, Churchill, El Kabeir, Expert Eye, Harry Angel, Kessaar, Mehmas, Profitable, Sioux Nation, Tasleet, U S Navy Flag and Zoustar.
Some 18 of them are qualified for French owners’ premiums and 78 juveniles qualify for the Swedish Derby and Oaks series.
