Tattersalls Foal Sale catalogue features foals by top 15 active GB & Irish sires

First-crop sires with lots include Advertise, Blue Point and Magna Grecia

The Tattersalls December Foal Sale catalogue has been released, with foals by many of Europe's leading sires such as Dubawi, Kingman, Frankel, No Nay Never and Sea The Stars among the lots up for grabs.

Taking place at Park Paddocks from November 24-27, there are 138 foals by the current top 15 active British and Irish sires and 161 by the current top 20, as well as full- and half brothers and sisters to 128 Group and Listed winners.

Among those are Weylands Stud's Sea The Stars half-brother to Limato (lot 958), the Norris Bloodstock-consigned Dubawi half-brother to the high-class Tropbeau (943), The Castlebridge Consignment's Magna Grecia half-brother to Coventry Stakes scorer Nando Parrado (969), and Ringfort Stud's Blue Point half-sister to Duke of Cambridge Stakes winner Indie Angel (934).

There are also 87 foals out of Group- and Listed-winning mares such as Newsells Park Stud's Invincible Spirit colt out of French 1,000 Guineas heroine Teppal (985), the Chasemore Farm Frankel colt out of German 1,000 Guineas winner and Premio Lydia Tesio second Nyaleti (974) and Kenilworth House Stud's Saxon Warrior colt out of Matron and Phoenix Stakes victress La Collina (887).

First-crop sires represented include Advertise, Blue Point, Crystal Ocean, Eqtidaar, Flag Of Honour, Magna Grecia, Masar, Phoenix Of Spain, Study Of Man, Ten Sovereigns, Too Darn Hot and Waldgeist.

Among the international sires with representatives are American Pharoah, Kendargent, Le Havre and Siyouni, while first-crop sire Justify has two lots catalogued.

Richard Kent’s Mickley Stud has the largest consignment with 50 lots, while Barton Stud has 37 catalogued, followed by 33 from The Castlebridge Consignment. Norelands Stud, the leading consignor at the 2020 December Foal Sale, has a team of 23 foals, and Newsells Park Stud will offer a consignment of 20 foals.
