Tattersalls Cheltenham reveal exciting initial entries for December Sale

The boutique auction will take place at Park Paddocks in Newmarket

Tattersalls Cheltenham have revealed the initial entries for the December Sale, which this year takes place at Park Paddocks in Newmarket on Thursday, December 10.

The 29 lots comprise 15 winning and placed four-year-old point-to-pointers, eight winning and place five-year-old pointers and a Listed-winning bumper winner who is also Grade 2-placed over hurdles in Timetochill.

Among the eyecatching lots are:

Grangeclare West - a Denis Murphy-trained son of Presenting who ran out an impressive first-time-out winner of a Lingstown maiden won in 2018 by Shishkin

Aki Bomaye - a son of Stowaway, and a half-brother to Supreme Novices' Hurdle runner-up Granit Jack, who was a convincing winner of a Turtulla maiden on debut for James Doyle

The King Of Ryhope - trained by Cian Hughes, the son of Malinas was a striking winner of a Lingstown maiden on debut

Guily Billy - Donnchadh Doyle's son of Coastal Path clocked a fast time when scoring in style at Tinahely

The December Sale has compiled an impressive list of recent graduates, with the likes of Chantry House, Chris's Dream, Fayonagh and Shishkin having changed hands at past renewals.

Further entries will be taken from the weekend fixtures at Borris House and Ballindenisk, with the main catalogue due to go to print on Monday, November 30.

Wildcard entries will also be accepted from fixtures up to the Kinsale, Tattersalls, Mainstown, Chaddesley Corbett and Wadesbridge meetings on Sunday, December 6.
