Smart sorts among initial entries for the Tattersalls Cheltenham January Sale
Sale to take place after racing at Prestbury Park later this month
The catalogue for the Tattersalls Cheltenham January Sale is now out, with the event set to take place after racing on Festival Trials Day on January 28 in the Tattersalls Cheltenham sale ring.
With further wildcard entries set to be added after this weekend's point-to-points and racing, the entries so far total up to 35.
Among them are 32 winning and placed pointers and three winning and placed bumper horses. Standouts at this stage include Ballyfree House Stables' Mardy Mono (Lot 23), a placed daughter of Walk In The Park out of an unraced full-sister to More Of That, plus Moate Stables' Calli Black (9), a winner at Carrigarostig and a Califet mare from the family of smart performers Duhallow Gesture and Me And Ben.
Leading sires set to be represented include Blue Bresil, Califet, Champs Elysees, Doyen, Getaway, Jet Away, Ocovango, Presenting, Soldier Of Fortune and Walk In The Park.
The catalogue can be viewed online at tattersallscheltenham.com with physical catalogues distributed from Thursday, January 19. Live bidding will also be available for those unable to attend the sale.
