The Gredleys' Stetchworth and Middle Park Studs will unleash a very well-bred daughter of Frankel in Climate Friendly, a half-sister to the operation's Prix Morny winner Pretty Pollyanna, in the first race at Newmarket on Saturday (1.31).

Trained by Roger Varian, the daughter of Juddmonte's champion sire is obviously not as precocious as her Oasis Dream half-sibling, but she interestingly holds a Group 1 entry in next month's Fillies' Mile.

Climate Friendly is the sixth foal out of the Gredleys' top producer, the unraced Shamardal mare Unex Mona Lisa, a half-sister to American Grade 3 winner Gender Agenda. They are in turn out of a half-sister to the family's wonderful Oaks and St Leger winner User Friendly.

Unex Mona Lisa is the dam of three individual winners to date, with Pretty Pollyanna leading the way. The filly struck at Yarmouth on her debut in June of her juvenile campaign before adding the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes and Prix Morny to her name. She was also third to Iridessa in the Fillies' Mile.

At three, Pretty Pollyanna finished third to Hermosa in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and was also a head second on her final start in the Listed Hopeful Stakes. She produced a colt foal by Frankel this year and is back in foal to the son of Galileo.

Among her half-sister's 12 rivals is Chelsea Green, a daughter of U S Navy Flag who shelved her maiden tag on her second start last time; Doom, James Wigan's Dubawi filly out of Dansili's Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf winner Dank; Fortis Regina, a daughter of Ardad from the family of Group 2 Gertrude Bell; and Scenic, by Lope De Vega and out of a Frankel half-sister to English King, Pacifique and Prudenzia.

The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (2.10) at Gowran Park will see Aidan O'Brien saddle two runners including newcomer High Chieftess.

The Galileo two-year-old is out of Kodiac's Cheveley Park and Lowther Stakes heroine Tiggy Wiggy, a mare who sold to MV Magnier for 2,100,000gns from the Tattersalls December Mares Sale in 2015. The ten-year-old has already produced two winners including the sadly ill-fated Year Of The Tiger, a full-brother to High Chieftess who won once and was third to Kameko in the Vertem Futurity Trophy.

High Chieftess is set to face 11 rivals in the mile event including Sounds Of Heaven, a daughter of Kingman out of a full-sister to dual Guineas heroine Hermosa and two further top-flight scorers in Hydrangea and The United States.

Bred by Fairway Thoroughbreds, she sold from Hazelwood Bloodstock to Glen Hill Farm for 650,000gns from Tattersalls Book 1.

Two intriguing newcomers in the first division of the novice race at Newbury (1.10) are Lieber Power and Exoplanet.

Lieber Power was picked up by SackvilleDonald from Hazelwood Bloodstock at Book 1 for 200,000gns. The son of Cracksman is a three-parts brother to this season's Belmont Oaks heroine McKulick and a half-sibling to two further Group winners in German 2,000 Guineas scorer Fearless King (by Kingman) and Just Beautiful (Pride Of Dubai).

Exoplanet, a 260,000gns purchase by Varian from Whatton Manor Stud at Book 1, is by Sea The Stars and out of a winning Shamardal half-sister to the 2015 1,000 Guineas, Nassau and Matron Stakes victress Legatissimo.
