The 1m2f Nordoff Robbins Charlie Watts Memorial Fillies' Novice Stakes at Sandown on Friday (4.10) could see the unveiling of a top-class prospect as a number of unraced or lightly raced sorts head to the track.

Watership Down Stud's Darmoiselle has a parentage that needs very little introduction. The three-year-old is by Dubawi and out of the mighty producer Dar Re Mi, a multiple Group 1-winning daughter of Singspiel, making her a full-sister to champion juvenile and Darley sire Too Darn Hot, Musidora Stakes winner and Prix de l'Opera third So Mi Dar, plus Middleton Fillies' Stakes victress and St Leger second Lah Ti Dar.

The eighth foal out of the now 17-year-old Dar Re Mi, Darmoiselle is also a half-sister to the Group-placed De Treville, who stands at Haras du Mezeray.

Another notably well-bred debutante in the 13-strong field is Time Lock, Juddmonte's daughter of champion sire Frankel and Time Chaser, a winning full-sister to dual Group 2 winner and exciting young sire Time Test, the pair being out of the Group 1-winning Passage Of Time.

Qatar Racing has two representatives in the race, with Oaks entry Emotion particularly catching the eye. The daughter of Frankel is out of Molly Malone, the winner of the Prix du Cadran and in turn the dam of Prix Corrida scorer and Group 1-placed Morgan Le Faye.

Qatar Racing also has the twice-raced New Year Honours, who is by Nathaniel and hails from the family of disqualified 1,000 Guineas 'winner' Jacqueline Quest, the dam of Breeders' Cup scorer Line Of Duty.

The winning Emily Upjohn is one of three runners for the Gosden yard, and the Lordship Stud and Sunderland Holding-bred daughter of Sea The Stars is another to hold an Oaks entry.

A 60,000gns graduate from Tattersalls Book 2 when purchased by Blandford Bloodstock, she comes from the family of Hazariya, the dam of Sea The Stars' dual Derby winner Harzand.

Yet another unraced daughter of Frankel is Merry Fox Stud homebred Golden Sheen, who is out of an unraced full-sister to Grosser Preis von Berlin scorer Second Step, while Sir Evelyn de Rothschild's once-raced Crystal Estrella is an Iffraaj half-sister to the Listed-placed Crystal Hope and out of a close relation to Canadian Grade 1 winner Hillstar and a half-sister to world champion Crystal Ocean.

The twice-raced Oaks entry Oblong Song is a Newsells Park Stud homebred daughter of Nathaniel and a full-sister to Newbury Listed scorer Natavia and a half-sibling to Sun Chariot Stakes heroine Spinning Queen.
