Anodin, whose progeny have been impressing both on and off the track this year, will see his fee increased to €15,000 for the 2019 breeding season.

The eight-year-old son of Anabaa will stand his fifth season at Haras du Quesnay, where he holds court alongside Attendu and Motivator.

Already the sire of 15 first-crop winners, his son Harmless had breeders talking when winning the Listed Prix Roland du Chambure at Longchamp in July.

More was to follow with Anodor leading home a one-two for the sire in the mile Group 3 Prix du Chenes at Longchamp in September, before finishing a close third to Royal Marine in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere on Arc day, with Australia colt Broome splitting the pair.

His yearlings have sold this year for up to €140,000, the price realised by one of his sons to top the Arqana v2 Sale, while another son was the session-topper on the opening day of the Osarus Yearling Sale at €115,000.

A Wertheimer homebred, Anodin is a Group 1-placed brother to the exceptional racemare Goldikova. The pair are out of Born Gold, a blue hen daughter of Blushing Groom and producer of no fewer than eight runners with a three-figure Racing Post Rating.

Anodin stood his first three seasons at a €7,500 fee, with his price trimmed to €6,000 this season.
