Two offspring from the final crop of the ill-fated jumps sire Jeremy feature among the 23 initial entries for the Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale, which takes place after racing on Friday, November 15.

Warren Ewing's Bernice Stables is the vendor of four-year-old filly Brave Way, who opened her account in a Knockinroe maiden, and the four-year-old gelding Bold Enough, who was unlucky to bump into the highly touted Ballyadam when second at Portrush, and both are by the late son of Danehill Dancer.

Ewing also saddled Bold Soldier to finish second in the preceding four-year-old maiden at Portrush, and the four-year-old gelding completes his trio heading to the November Sale.

Other trainers with more than one lot on offer are Colin Bowe, Colin McKeever and Denis Murphy.

Another lot of particular interest is the runaway Knockinroe maiden winner Ashtown Lad, whose owner Patrick Redmond is best known for campaigning the top-class chaser Big Zeb.

Ashtown Lad will be sent into the ring by Ballydaragh Stables and Liam Kenny, whose son James rode the son of Flemensfirth to victory.

Jeremy, whose son Our Conor landed the 2013 Triumph Hurdle in emphatic style, has continued to supply the good with his jumps runners, with Reserve Tank winning two Grade 1 novice hurdle races during the 2018-19 campaign.

What is more, Mister Fisher and Birchdale both struck in Grade 2 novice hurdle company in January, while Santa Rossa and The Glancing Queen both struck in Grade 2 mares' bumpers later in the season.

The initial November Sale entries comprise 13 winning and placed four-year-old pointers, five winning five-year-old pointers, a twice-placed bumper horse, and another who placed in a French bumper.

Graduates of the auction include Grade 1-winning hurdler Battleoverdoyen, who made the foot-perfect start to his chasing career at Galway in late October, and Slate House, who outclassed his rivals on his seasonal debut over fences at Cheltenham.

Further entries will be selected over the weekend with the catalogue going to print on Monday 4 November. Select wildcard entries will be taken up until the sale.
