National Stud newcomer Advertise has first three mares scanned in foal
Three-time Group 1 winner is standing for £25,000 in 2020
The National Stud's new recruit Advertise has got his stallion career off to the perfect start, with the first three mares covered by the three-time Group 1-winning son of Showcasing all scanned in foal.
National Stud manager Tim Lane said: "Advertise has settled into his new job extremely well. He's a pleasure to work with and we are absolutely thrilled by the quality of mares breeders are sending him."
The three in foal mares give an indication as to the level of quality contained within Advertise's debut book.
They are: Hesmonds Stud's La Cochere, a winning daughter of Le Havre from the family of Australian champion two-year-old and rising star sire Pierro; the winning Galileo mare Flight To Fancy, a €1.7 million sale-topping Arqana yearling owned by Waratah Thoroughbreds; and Bumble Bloodstock's Miss Bunter, who has already bred a juvenile stakes winner in Alwasmiya.
Advertise, winner of the Phoenix Stakes at two and the Commonwealth Cup and Prix Maurice de Gheest at three, is standing his first season on covering duty at a fee of £25,000.
