More than 3,800 horses set to come under the hammer at Keeneland from Monday
Ten sessions of breeding stock selling will run until Wednesday, November 18
Keeneland will begin its 77th November Breeding Stock Sale at noon local time on Monday, offering a premier Book 1 featuring in-foal broodmares, weanlings and racing and broodmare prospects with connections to exciting young stallions and successful established sires.
A total of 3,805 horses have been catalogued to the November Sale, which will cover ten sessions up to and including Wednesday, November 18.
Horses of racing age highlight sessions on Monday, November 16 and Tuesday, November 17 and represent such leading consignors as ELiTE, Lane’s End, Paramount Sales, Taylor Made Sales Agency and WinStar Farm.
Stallions represented by their first crop of weanlings in the auction include undefeated 2018 Triple Crown winner Justify.
Joining Justify as sires with their first weanlings are 2017 Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming, champions Good Magic and West Coast, and Breeders’ Cup winners City Of Light and Mendelssohn.
Champions Mitole and Vino Rosso, and Grade 1 winners Omaha Beach and Yoshida, are among the stallions represented by their first in-foal mares in the catalogue.
A total of 187 covering sires in the catalogue include Always Dreaming, American Pharoah, Arrogate, Bernardini, Candy Ride, Catholic Boy, City Of Light, Constitution, Curlin, Distorted Humor, Ghostzapper, Good Magic, Gun Runner, Into Mischief, Justify, Kitten’s Joy, Malibu Moon, Medaglia D’Oro, Not This Time, Outwork, Quality Road, Speightstown, Street Sense, Tapit, Uncle Mo, Union Rags and War Front.
