More feathers in the cap for 'Kentucky treasure' Kitten's Joy
Nancy Sexton looks back at a big weekend for the sire of Roaring Lion
It was about this time last year that Ken Ramsey announced his intention to switch Kitten’s Joy, the horse that he had developed into such an international sire at his Ramsey Farm, to Europe.

It is easy to see where Ramsey was coming from. Only days previously at the 2017 Keeneland September Sale, Kitten’s Joy had returned an average of $114,464, a miserly return on his $100,000 fee (at the time of writing, it stands at $124,838 for this year’s renewal).
