Majoris seeking to keep up good start to stud career for Frankel
A daily round-up of well-bred horses running in Britain
Tuesday's 7f maiden at Brighton at 6.10pm sees the Hugo Palmer–trained colt Majoris bidding to continue the excellent start made to his stud career by ten–time Group 1 winner Frankel.
Placed sixth at Haydock in May, Majoris is the only runner in Britain by the Banstead Manor Stud resident not to have won to date with Cunco, Fair Eva, Frankuus and Queen Kindly all having been successful on their racecourse debuts.
Owned and bred by Al Asayl Bloodstock, Majoris is the first foal produced by the once–placed Kingmambo mare Drops, a 750,000gns purchase by Silfield Bloodstock at the 2013 Tattersalls December Mares Sale.
