Monday

Lot 1318

Dusty Dream
4yo b m Dubawi-Memory (Danehill Dancer)
Consigned by the Royal Studs

The Queen's beautifully bred half-sister to Group winners Call To Mind, Learn By Heart and Recorder - now a promising first-season sire at Montfort et Preaux - is arguably one of the most eyecatching lots early on in the sale.

By a burgeoning broodmare sire in Dubawi, who was responsible for the likes of Derby hero Adayar, Prix Daniel Wildenstein winner Real World and Darley Stakes scorer Mostahdaf this term, the four-year-old is offered in foal to Showcasing to boot.

Aside from her black type-winning siblings, Dusty Dream is out of a Cherry Hinton and Albany Stakes winner in Memory, who could provide further updates in due course as she has a yearling Dubawi filly and a Night Of Thunder colt foal.

Lot 1426

Sun Tide
4yo ch m Siyouni-Midsummer (Kingmambo)
Juddmonte Farms

The Juddmonte draft is always eagerly anticipated at this sale, and this Siyouni half-sister to the great Midday looks a likely candidate to get the green team off to a good start.

Sun Tide won her maiden on her third start at Chepstow last August and looks a particularly valuable prospect as a broodmare given she is a half-sister to six-time Group/Grade 1 winner Midday as well as the Group 3-winning British Champions Fillies & Mare Stakes third Sun Maiden and Nell Gywn Stakes winner Hot Snap.

The four-year-old has an exciting covering too, having visited last year's 2,000 Guineas hero Kameko, while she is by one of the best sires in the world in the Aga Khan Studs' Siyouni.

Lot 1567

Cambridgeshire
3yo b f Galileo - Sahara Sky (Danehill)
The National Stud

Bred on the cross that has famously produced the likes of Frankel, Highland Reel and Japan, this filly does not quite have their talents but holds plenty of potential when it comes to a paddocks career.

The three-year-old was placed four times for Martyn Meade but it seems her calling could lie as a broodmare prospect. She is out of the unraced Danehill mare Sahara Sky and is therefore a half-sister to Group 1 winner Dick Whittington plus four further minor winners.

Under the second dam is champion European sprinter Owington, Nell Gwyn winner and Poule d'Essai des Pouliches runner-up Nathra, and champion Italian juvenile filly Fly On The Night.

Tuesday

Lot 1679

Mohjatty
3yo b f Awtaad-Ezima (Sadler's Wells)
Shadwell Estate Company

Whether they are yearlings, horses in training or broodmares, Shadwell's drafts have been in great demand over the course of sales season and it is not hard to understand why.

Lots who descend from carefully crafted bloodlines are the order of the day and this filly, by Derrinstown Stud's Classic hero Awtaad, would be an asset to any stud.

The unraced three-year-old is out of the stakes-winning Sadler's Wells mare Ezima and is therefore a half-sister to the brilliant Taghrooda, a daughter of Sea The Stars who swept all before her when landing the Oaks and King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes for Shadwell.

There is quality throughout Mohjatty's page, with champion three-year-old filly Ebadiyla, Moyglare Stud Stakes scorer Ebadiya and Gold Cup hero Enzeli all under the third dam.

Lot 1735

Dandalla
3yo b f Dandy Man-Chellalla (Elnadim)
Spigot Lodge Stables

A high-class performer for Karl Burke and Nick Bradley Racing, Dandalla cost only €22,000 as a yearling when bought by Kelly Burke from the Castlebridge Consignment at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale. It is fair to say the daughter of Dandy Man will command a fair bit more on her return to the sales ring.

Dandalla proved a high-class talent at two when winning her first three starts, including the Albany Stakes and Duchess of Cambridge Stakes, before finishing a respectable fifth in the Cheveley Park to Alcohol Free.

Fourth in the Commonwealth Cup and a stakes winner at Ayr this term, the three-year-old heads to Park Paddocks as an exciting broodmare prospect. Her dam is a winning half-sister to a stakes winner, while further back in the page are Derby winner North Light, Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud scorer Gamut and Prix du Cadran victress Sought Out.

Lot 1756

Mondelice
8yo b m Montjeu-Compelling (Kingmambo)
Haras D'Etreham

The daughter of Montjeu's broodmare record was given a sparkling update or two through her son Dubai Honour, a son of Pride Of Dubai who graduated from handicaps to win the Prix Dollar and Prix Guillaume d'Ornano, as well as finishing second in the Champion Stakes at Ascot this term.

With the three-year-old gelding set for international targets as well as an ambition campaign in Britain, there could well be a winning Group 1 update to the page in due course.

Montjeu is an excellent broodmare sire and his daughter, whose Cracksman colt sold for 200,000gns to Anthony Stroud at the October Yearling Sale, has an exciting covering in New Bay. Her juvenile filly by Wootton Bassett, Shishito, was a promising second on her sole start to date in the United States.

Wednesday

Lot 2072

Misty
5yo b m Oasis Dream-Ceilidh House (Selkirk)
Jamie Railton

By an established broodmare sire in the venerable Oasis Dream, whose daughters have produced the likes of Irish 2,000 Guineas hero Siskin and the top-class Sir Dragonet, Misty also has the added bonus of having an updated page to boot.

Her Kingman half-brother, Kinross, was already a Listed winner but added two Group wins to his name this term with successes in the Lennox and John of Gaunt Stakes as well as a fine fourth in the Prix de la Foret last month.

Misty, who was covered by the high-flying Time Test, is in turn out of a stakes winner in Ceilidh House, who is herself a half-sister to Villa Sonata, the dam of Solario Stakes scorer and Poule d'Essai des Poulains second First Selection.

Lot 2096

Attendant
3yo ch m Frankel-Zuhoor Baynoona (Elnadim)
Cheveley Park Stud

A daughter of Frankel from a typically in-depth Cheveley Park family, Attendant has plenty to offer prospective buyers.

The three-year-old, who was covered by Twilight Son but is believed to not be in foal, is out of the stakes-winning Elnadim mare Zuhoor Baynoona, herself a half-sister to Sprint Cup and Diamond Jubilee Stakes scorer Hello Youmzain as well as Premio Gran Criterium winner and German Derby third Royal Youmzain.

Frankel has made a good start to his broodmare sire career with a stakes winner and Group 1-placed performer in Noble Truth, in addition to two further black-type runners, while Elnadim's daughters have produced Cox Plate and Secretariat Stakes hero Adelaide and the Group 2-winning Group 1-placed Zousain.

Lot 2118

Zawahir
2yo b f Lope De Vega-Fawz (Medaglia d'Oro)
Shadwell Estate Company

Another consigned by Shadwell is this unraced juvenile filly from one of the operation's most illustrious families, being out of a half-sister to Aghareed, a Listed-winning daughter of Kingmambo and the dam of the unbeaten Baaeed and the high-class Hukum.

Baaeed needs little introduction, having maintained his flawless record when defeating Palace Pier in last month's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, and there could be a lot more to come for the page with the son of Sea The Stars remaining in training next year.

Further back in the family are the likes of the top-class Nayef and 2,000 Guineas, Derby and Eclipse hero Nashwan - the pair the offspring of Shadwell's mighty blue hen Height Of Fashion.

Thursday

Lot 2290

Masonbrook Lady
8yo b m Canford Cliffs-Gali Gal (Galileo)
Barton Sales

The daughter of Canford Cliffs is another well-related lot, being a full-sister to the stakes-winning Salouen, who ran Cracksman very close when second in the Coronation Cup at Epsom, as well as being a half-sibling to another stakes performer in Madernia.

There could be some exciting updates to the page too as the eight-year-old has a yearling by Whitsbury Manor Stud's promising young sire Havana Grey.

Further back in the page are the likes of Prix du Muguet scorer and Poule d'Essai des Poulains third Krataios and Loxias, a Group 2 winner at Saint-Cloud and third in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud.

Lot 2294

Golden Wattle
3yo ch f Australia-Chrysanthemum (Danehill Dancer)
Brook Stud

Brook Stud's daughter of Australia is a three-parts sister to Cunco, the winner of Sandown's Classic Trial and third in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot.

There has also been a more recent update to the page too as, under the third dam, Highfield Princess landed a first black-type success in the Queen Charlotte Stakes at Chelmsford in July, as well as two Group placings in the City of York and Oak Tree Stakes.

Her Frankel three-parts sister added further lustre to the book when selling to Joseph O'Brien and Fernando Laffon for 200,000gns at the October Yearling Sale. In short, she is a filly with plenty of back class to her name.

Lot 2318

Frisky
2yo ch f Bated Breath-Thrill (Pivotal)
Cheveley Park Stud

Bated Breath has long since proved himself a reliable stalwart of the Banstead Manor team and his daughter looks a likely candidate for any stud in the future.

She is out of a winning full-sister to Nell Gwyn Stakes winner and Coronation Stakes second Infallible - the dam of Falmouth Stakes heroine Veracious and multiple Group scorer Mutakayyef - in addition to the stakes-winning Remarkable and the Group-placed Watchable.

Thrill, a daughter of the Newmarket stud's late, great Pivotal, is also closely related to Penchant, the dam of Prix Maurice de Gheest winner Garswood and Debutante Stakes third Zagitova.
