Lord Kanaloa leads the line among 30-strong Shadai roster
Sire of Almond Eye's fee slightly trimmed for 2021
Lord Kanaloa will be the highest publicly-priced member of the 30-strong roster at Shadai Stallion Stallion Station in Japan for 2021.
The sire of the all-conquering Almond Eye as well as Blue Diamond Stakes winner Tagaloa has had his price trimmed for next year and will be available at ¥15m (£108,000/€119,000), from this year's ¥20m.
Next in line are three sires available at ¥10m including Epiphaneia, whose fee has doubled after the Triple Crown heroics of Daring Tact.
Kizuna and Duramente, who also have both been making an impression as bright stallion prospects, have also risen to the same mark.
Two of the farm's senior figures, Daiwa Major and Heart’s Cry, are listed as private, while there are plenty of other international stallions among the offering.
Five-time US Grade 1 winner Bricks and Mortar, who started at Shadai last year, is unchanged at ¥6m while the unbeaten new recruit Nadal will stand for ¥4m, the same fee as Harbinger. It had already been announced that Irish Guineas hero Siskin would be starting out at ¥3.5m.
