The French champion jockey has been based across the Channel for 15 years
ThoroughBid has announced that jockey James Reveley will join their team as a National Hunt consignment agent in France, where he has been based for the last 15 years.
Reveley, who won the French jump jockeys' championship for the first time in 2016, along with a maiden success in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris, will help ThoroughBid source French-bred National Hunt stock for their new online auction house.
The jockey said: “I’m really looking forward to working with ThoroughBid. I can’t wait to get started and provide ThoroughBid’s future sales with quality French National Hunt pedigrees.”
Ross Alberto, co-founder of ThoroughBid, added: “We’re thrilled to have James Reveley working with us and look forward to him consignment some exciting National Hunt horses in France over the coming months.
“His experience will prove invaluable in sourcing top-quality horses from across the channel."
ThoroughBid's second sale takes place on Sunday, October 24.
