ITM launches marketing support fund for Irish breeze-up consignors
Vendors can apply for assistance with producing videos and digital content
Irish Thoroughbred Marketing has launched a new scheme in support of Irish breeze-up consignors in light of the coronavirus crisis.
The ITM Breeze-Up Consignor Marketing Support Scheme 2020 is designed to assist with the marketing of breeze-up lots through digital means.
The initiative enables Irish breeze-up vendors to avail of a financial contribution towards the cost of pre-sale conformation videos and digital content.
The contribution will be made available to consignors who engage the services of a recognised professional videographer to create video and photo content that complies with stipulated standards relating to quality and content.
The €30 per horse contribution will be paid to the relevant videographer, on behalf of the consignor, upon receipt of a completed application form.
Síle Hayes of ITM commented: “The importance of the breeze-up market to the industry as a whole cannot be overestimated.
"In these times of restricted travel and increased public health measures, ITM is seeking to assist this pivotal sector by lending its support to breeze-up consignors’ digital marketing efforts.”
The ITM Breeze-Up Consignor Marketing Support Scheme 2020 will be operated on a pre-approval basis and will require consignors to complete an application.
For further information on the scheme or to request an application form, contact Síle Hayes at shayes@itm.ie.
