Vegas Showgirl delivers Snitzel half-sister to superstar mare Winx
Filly was bred by John Camilleri
Vegas Showgirl, the dam of Australian superstar mare Winx, delivered a Snitzel half-sister to the six-time Group 1 winner at Segenhoe Stud in Australia on Saturday evening.
The filly was bred by Winx's breeder John Camilleri, who sold the daughter of Street Cry as a yearling for A$240,000 (£139,631/€161,630) in 2013, and is the sixth foal out of the Listed-winning daughter of Al Akbar. She is also a sister to Group 3 hero El Divino.
The new arrival was born on the same day that Winx made a winning return to the track when landing the Group 2 Warwick Stakes at Randwick racecourse.
