Tis Marvellous the first stakes winner for Tweenhills resident
The Clive Cox charge looks an excellent ambassador for his sire
First-season sire Harbour Watch looks to have an excellent ambassador in Tis Marvellous, who blew away the opposition to win the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin at Maisons-Laffitte on Sunday.
Tis Marvellous, trained by Clive Cox for Julie Deadman and Stephen Barrow, came into the race on the back of an eight-length victory in a Windsor maiden and he showed the same speed and class to defeat Queen Mary Stakes runner-up Al Johrah by two and a half lengths.
Cox trained Reckless Abandon, winner of the Prix Robert Papin in 2012, for Deadman and Barrow and he went on to win the Prix Morny and Middle Park Stakes.
