Tapit has price held for 2017
Son of Pulpit has sired 20 top-level winners
Multiple North American champion sire Tapit will stand at an unchanged fee of $300,000 at Gainesway next year.
The 15-year-old son of Pulpit has sired 20 top-level winners and his stars this year were 14-length Metropolitan Handicap hero Frosted and Belmont Stakes scorer Creator.
Tapit started his stallion career at Gainesway at a fee of just $15,000, which dipped to $12,500 in 2007 and 2008.
Empire Maker, repatriated to the US last year after five seasons at stud in Japan, is the recipient of a fee cut to $85,000 (from $100,000).
The 16-year-old son of Unbridled is the sire of celebrities Bodemeister and Royal Delta, while his son Pioneerof The Nile supplied Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.
