Stud fees in brief: news on Colleville, Hetraie and Quesnay
Leading French sire by winners Kendargent remains at €22,000
Three prominent French studs become the latest farms to release 2018 covering fees for their rosters, namely Haras de Colleville, Haras de la Hetraie and Haras du Quesnay.
Kendargent, the leading French sire by winners, will remain at €22,000, while his son Goken will join him at Colleville, where he will stand at an unchanged fee of €5,000. Galiway will continue to be offered to breeders at a fee of €3,000.

Haras de la Hetraie have also released fees for next year for its nine-strong roster, headed by Kapgarde, sire of French steeplechase sensation Milord Thomas, who has been upped from €8,500 to €10,000.
Great Pretender - an 18-year-old stallion like Kapgarde - was responsible for Grade 1-winning novice chaser Great Field, and he has seen his fee rise from €5,500 to €7,000.
New recruit Pastorius will be introduced at his new home at a fee of €5,800, while George Vancouver remains at €6,000.

Quesnay have trimmed second-crop sire Anodin from €7,500 to €6,000, while new recruit Attendu, the first son to stand at stud in France, will be introduced at a fee of €5,000.
2005 Derby winner Motivator remains at €10,000, while three-time Arc runner-up Youmzain is kept at €4,000.
