Tattersalls Ireland have cancelled their December Sale at Ascot, which was due to take place on Monday.
Severe weather has caused the abandonment, as snow and freezing conditions have swept across Britain.
Some 150 lots were due to go under the hammer at Ascot, including drafts from Godolphin and Joseph O'Brien.
Tattersalls Ireland have yet to announce alternative arrangements for the sale.
