Racing returns to Windsor on Monday where first-season sires Alhebayeb and Bungle Inthejungle are both represented in the 5f novice stakes (5.40).

Dark Thunder, a grey son of Alhebayeb, would appear to hold the better chance of the pair, have been purchased for £42,000 from the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale.

Kg Passion, meanwhile, bids to become the fifth winner for Bungle Inthejungle, who has got his second career off to a flying start. He was picked up by Martin Wanless and David Evans for €20,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale.

But perhaps the most intriguing runner in the contest is the Australian-bred Starspangledbanner colt Anthem Of Peace - the Racing Post previously reported how, bred to northern hemisphere time, the colt found his way to last year's Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale, where a filly bred in the same way also came under the hammer.

Rosemont Stud principal Anthony Mithen has also stated his intention to target the Royal Ascot meeting with Australian-bred juveniles, so Monday's contest at Windsor could just be the start of things to come.

Final thought

A look at past winners of race can often indicate the strength of a particular race, and Heeraat's first winner, Cotubanama, looks sure to have entered plenty of notebooks having won the same conditions stakes won by the likes of Illuminate - who went on to score at Royal Ascot - and Tiggy Wiggy.

You can read about her success here.
