Muhaarar a popular choice among breeders
Son of Oasis Dream first book contained 129 mares
It is 12 months to the day that Muhaarar won the Qipco British Champions Sprint by two lengths from Twilight Son.
The four-year-old finished down the field on Saturday afternoon and his dam, Twilight Mistress, is one of 11 producers of Group/Grade 1 winners believed to be in-foal to Muhaarar, a son of Oasis Dream.
More than 80 per cent of Muhaarar's first book of 129 mares was made up of stakes winners and producers of stakes winners, with 19 mares being either Group/Grade 1 or Classic winners themselves or the producers of Group/Grade 1 winners.
