The fillies take centre stage on the Rowley Mile on Sunday as they bid for Classic glory in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas, for which a top-class field of 15 runners has been assembled.

Ahead of the contest, Martin Stevens profiles outstanding producer You'resothrilling, whose daughter Happily could add to an already outstanding record for her dam.

Away from Newmarket, No Nay Never has the chance to double his tally of winners when Servalan lines up in the 5f maiden at Dundalk for trainer Jessica Harrington.

The son of Scat Daddy is already off the mark at stud, having supplied the first winner of his second career when Mae No Never won at Belmont on Thursday.

Final thought

Saxon Warrior started the season exactly where he left off with a dominant success in the Qipco 2,000 Guineas to take his Group 1 tally to two victories.

Winner of the Racing Post Trophy as a juvenile, the son of Deep Impact looks capable of going on to great things and it would be no surprise if he ends the seasons as a multiple Classic winner.
